r.i.p., kuchar

One of the most influential, independent and avant-garde filmmakers, George Kuchar, has passed away. I am very lucky to have seen this man present his films in person. He made a major influence on my thoughts toward filmmaking--if you have an idea for a film but don't have all of the money in the world to make it, do it anyway. Also taught me to really appreciate the small things, taking note of the minute details in life.
